Northumberland Coastal Tour

 

• The Holy Island is a tidal island off the coast of Northumberland, known for its early Christian history, stunning scenery, and wildlife, only accessible by a causeway that is submerged at high tide.

• Bamburgh is a picturesque coastal village in Northumberland, famous for its dramatic castle perched on a volcanic crag overlooking the sea.

• Seahouses is a picturesque fishing and holiday village on the Northumberland coast, known for its vibrant harbour, traditional fishing boats, and being a gateway to boat trips to the Farne Islands.

 

Barnard Castle Town

Whitley Bay

 

• Whitley Bay is a vibrant coastal town in North Tyneside, situated 10 miles east of Newcastle. Famed for its award-winning, mile-long Blue Flag beach and the iconic dome of the restored Spanish City, it has transformed from a traditional holiday resort into a charming, contemporary seaside escape.

• Once known for its Victorian arcades and amusement parks, the town has undergone a massive revival. Today, independent coffee shops, trendy bistros, and highly-rated bakeries line the streets

 

Tynemouth

 

• Tynemouth is a vibrant, historic coastal town situated on a rocky headland where the River Tyne meets the North Sea. Located just 8 miles east of Newcastle upon Tyne, it offers a perfect blend of rich heritage, stunning natural beaches, and a bustling independent scene.
